Tuscany Regional Maritime S.p.A. carried out by the year 1976 of the links in the Tuscan Archipelago. Established under the law for the reorganization of maritime services of local nature, in particular linking the whole year the Tuscan coast with the island of Elba.
The ships, from the beginning of the activity, have been chosen to offer a punctual, reliable and comfortable transportation with adverse meteorological conditions at sea. The last entry in the fleet was in 1999, with the craft of Capraia Island.
Toremar on all units, the safety of travel is guaranteed not only by the normal tools of law, including the installation of propulsion control automation, the computer operating system twice, from two radars, the automatic fire, the plant closed circuit television in the garage to indicate any waterways.
